The hotel is in the historic area with lots to see and do.
The room was small, the sink didn't have a mirror over it which made it difficult to shave. I was in room #12 which you can only access by a very tight spiral staircase. I nearly fell a couple of times. The desk clerks who worked nights were very helpful but the same can't be said of the lady who worked days. When I asked her about getting my laundry done, she vaguely motioned to the right outside of the hotel. They advertise that laundry service is available at the hotel.

I recently stayed at Puertas De hotel for a week while exploring the charming streets and vibrant culture of the walled city. The location was ideal for discovering local restaurants, live music venues, museums, and stunning architecture. The staff, including Ely, Angel, Karina, Carmen. The room provided a peaceful and quiet retreat, and the breakfast of fresh fruits, hot dishes, and mouthwatering banana bread was a delightful start to each day. the hotel provided a unique and enjoyable experience.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Location in the old historic centre was good. Air conditioned rooms were cool at night. It was quiet. One of the guys at reception spoke perfect English . Staff were friendly and helpful.
I liked it but if you want a modern Hilton type hotel it's not for you. It's an old building and rooms are not big. But it's very clean and you are right in the centre.

An excellent location for the Hay Festival events. A block away from Teatro Adolpho and only a few blocks away from other venues. Close to restaurants and other places in the old city.

The hotel's location is perfect, in the heart of the historic district. It's nearby the university, shops, and restaurants, and all the sights are easily reachable on foot. the room was clean and had controllable air-con, a fridge, and a TV. the breakfast was good considering the affordable room price. the two available computers are a plus.
The tourist information provided could have been better displayed and explained, as some of the staff struggled with English.

The free cocktails during the new year celebration were a nice touch, as well as the complimentary breakfast. the hotel's location near the main square and lively nightlife was perfect for party-goers like myself. the staff was also friendly and accommodating.
The noise from nearby clubs and street traffic made it difficult to sleep at night. the room was quite small and cramped.
